Our Sudbury Operations is proud to announce, through our partnership with the United Steelworkers – Local 6500, the Mining for Life plasma donation campaign with Canadian Blood Services generated 483 life-saving plasma donations from employees and USW members.
The Mine Sites employees won the friendly campaign challenge against their Surface Plants colleagues with 151 donations.
All employees who donated were entered to win one of five Yeti-themed prize packs, and the contest winners are as follows…
- Owen Marcotte, Grant Ens, and Annik Charron – top three donors
- Troy Tremblay and Doug Adair – randomly selected contest winners
